What is FaceToFace PC Communicator?

FaceToFace™ PC Communicator consists of a Windows Mobile™ application and a Desktop application and allows a deaf-blind PAC Mate user to communicate, by way of Bluetooth™ wireless technology, with other individuals using a desktop or laptop computer. The Windows Mobile version is called FaceToFace while the Desktop version is called FaceToFace Desktop.

About this Document

This document describes how to install, configure, and use the FaceToFace application on both the PAC Mate and a computer. For initial product installation and configuration on a computer, assistance from a sighted individual may be required if no screen access software is installed.

Accessing Online Help

Online help is available for the FaceToFace and FaceToFace Desktop applications. To access the help file for the Windows Mobile version, do the following:

  1. Start the FaceToFace application.
  2. Press the WINDOWS Key on the QX or F4 on the BX to open the Start menu, and then choose Help.
    The FaceToFace online help appears.

To access the help file for the Desktop version, do the following:

  1. Start the FaceToFace Desktop application.
  2. Press ALT+H to open the Help menu, and then choose Help Topics.
    The FaceToFace Desktop online help appears.
