Freedom Scientific's FSCommander for PAC Mate What is FSCommander? With FSCommander, you now have the power and convenience of remotely controlling home entertainment equipment - and other appliances that include remote control functions - right from your PAC Mate. With the FSCommander utility, simply follow three easy steps to put FSCommander into Learn mode, then program the buttons on your remote control devices into your PAC Mate. The number of appliances you can control through your PAC Mate is limited only by the ability of a device to accept remote control. This new appplication is only for the English build of PAC Mate BX and QX. What Does It Cost? FSCommander is a free download. There is no charge for this program. How Do I Get It? Download the file, FSCommander.zip, by clicking on the Download Now link near the bottom of this page. How Do I Install It? Save the FSCommander.zip file to a folder on your computer that you can easily remember. You might choose to save it on the desktop, which is the Windows default. Locate the file and unzip it. Connect your PAC Mate to your computer and establish a standard or guest partnership using ActiveSync. Use Windows Explorer to locate the FSCommander installation file and press ENTER. ActiveSync will then ask if you want to install it on your PAC Mate. Follow the prompts. To start FSCommander on your PAC Mate, go to the Start menu and choose Programs, FSCommander.
