Internet Connectivity

56K Modem from Socket Communications

This is a CompactFlash™ modem. It is "hot swappable" which means it can be inserted and removed with the PAC Mate running. It can be configured to work in most countries. Visit the Socket Communications Web site Modem page for more information.

Bluetooth Adapter from Socket Communications

Use this CompactFlash adapter for wireless connections to Bluetooth™-enabled devices such as cell phones, printers, Internet access points, Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers, and other computers. AmbiCom WL54CF WiFi Adapter

CF Memory from SanDisk™ or Kingston™

Freedom Scientific has tested the PAC Mate with CompactFlash memory cards from both of these manufacturers. Store your files on CompactFlash cards of 2 GB and greater, available from either company. Visit the SanDisk Web site or the Kingston Web site for more information.

Printing

IrDA embossing from ACTiSYS

With the ACTiSYS infrared (IR) adapter attached to your embosser, you can use the iIR port on your PAC Mate to wirelessly send files to be embossed. Visit the ActiSys Web site Infrared Data Association (IrDA) page for more information. Once on the page, scroll down to the IR100M link.
